Short Takes: Does it Make a Difference?

Opinion

Creeping Socialism, like weeds in a flower garden, so embedded itself in American politics when we weren’t paying attention that the question must now be asked, does it really make a difference what party takes the reins in 2024, all things given? Will we be forced to submit and allow evil to triumph? I think it really makes a big difference, after some preparations first.

Think of the Grand Old Party in terms of it once having been a lovely garden where people flowered in the sunshine of their God-given freedoms, their own initiatives, skills, education, and having the unfettered independence to use ’em. Outside the bounds of the GOP’s garden of flowering principles, the weeds flourished constantly trying to invade and choke out our garden.

But the Republican garden was invaded nonetheless and it desperately needs weeding. We have too many unproductive ragweeds named Romney, Murkowski, Collins, Sasse, and others, that need to be pulled out by the roots. The political philosophy that permits weeds to grow with abandon is fed with sweet-smelling manurer, comforting items like free housing, free education, free medical care, and even the hopeful prospect of free cradle to grave care, all sure killers of our independence. It’s called Socialism and comes in a variety of disguises such as Marxism, Communism, and Fascism!  Does it make a difference? You bet!

Socialism, as the modern Democrat party has come to embrace it, employs about the same subtle and violent techniques its predecessors have used since 1917. It has failed everywhere, every time it’s been implemented, always leaving a trail of death and economic destruction in its wake. Hitler’s fascism built death camps for the unfavored. Stalin’s Union of Socialist Soviet Republics used mass starvations followed by firing squads and Gulags. Our Democrats, until they win unequivocally, are using the silent killers of the philosophy of Eugenics, ie: abortions, pandemic fears, and old age neglect. if they should win totally, the unfavored race will be the creators of wealth, social cohesion, intellectual enlightenment, education, and freedom, think Whites of European descent.

Where’s the Grand Old Party in all this? Many, smelling that sweet manure, went to ragweed themselves and still can’t see the differences. The Democrat party demands near-complete obedience to its programs. The GOP doesn’t because it can’t. It’s filled with free thinkers, independent voices all screaming into the wind and being ignored by the Democrats and their odious propaganda machine, the free press. Republicans, with several individual exceptions, simply don’t fight back. They never learned how, until Donald Trump showed ’em and then, most recoiled in terror at the prospect of combat, afraid Democrats would view them unfavorably and not invite them to Cocktail parties or share a few crumbs of patronage leadership.

Trump was like cowboy toilet paper, rough, tough, and wouldn’t take crap off anybody. After Democrats recovered from their shock and regrouped, they launched a four-year campaign to destroy Donald Trump and only succeeded when they cheated for votes in a few states. Not content with installing a Bozo, the fear of Trump’s resurrection haunts their waking moments and now, they are searching to convict him of some other criminal act while totally ignoring Americas real “weeds of Crime,” the Clintons, Obama, John Kerry, Joe Biden and his idiot son Hunter, James Comey, John Brennan, and too many others to list here.

For the GOP, there is no apparent coordination of effort, no goal to achieve, and no leadership yet except from Mar-a-Largo, and even that is despised by the phony Republicans who dwell in the DC Swamp and feed from the scum ponds that are now watering the gardens.

We have it in our power to begin the world over again. The cause of America is in a great measure the cause of all mankind. Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.  Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one.”  Excerpts from Thomas Paine.

Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get involved!
